UP dominated in the first half

UP started the match very strongly and in the first 12 minutes, Bengal were all out twice. In this manner, UP had taken a lead of 13 points in the match. However, after being all out again, Bengal made a strong comeback and sent UP close to all out. Rohit Tomar saved his team from getting all out twice in a row and UP had a 10 point lead till half time. Pradeep Narwal scored 7 points while performing well, while opposition captain Maninder Singh also scored 7 points. Rohit Tomar took six points and did not let UP realize the absence of Surender Gill.

Bengal made a strong comeback in the second half

After trailing by 10 points in the first half, Bengal made a spectacular comeback in the second half on the strength of their captain Maninder and within 4 minutes all out UP. Rohit had saved his team from being all out three times in a row, but eventually UP had to be all out. Despite this all out, UP had a 9 point lead. After 8 minutes, Bengal gave UP all out for the second time and now UP had only one point lead left.

With three minutes left, Bengal had a three-point lead, but Pradeep Narwal leveled the score while doing a super raid. In the very next minute, Maninder gave Bengal the lead by putting a super raid. After this, UP also got points and in the last raid, Maninder was dismissed and the match was tied.
