Sooryavanshi follows DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the Chief of India’s Anti-Terrorism Squad, as he attempts to protect Mumbai from one of the worst terror attacks in history. The Sooryavanshi character was announced towards the end of Simmba that served as an introduction of the film. Singham and Simmba in extended cameo appearances reprise their roles from the franchise’s previous films.
Sooryavanshi is a 2021 Indian Hindi action film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape Of Good Films, based on a script by Yunus Sajaval and the original Shetty story. Fourth part of Shetty’s Cop Universe with Akshay Kumar as head of ATS DCP Vir Soryavanshi against Katrina Kaif with supporting actors from Jaaved Jafferi, Vivan Bhatena, Niharika Raizada, Jackie Shrof, Gulshan Grover V and Sihheniu and Abhimahu Ranveer Singh in a long episode reprising their roles as Singham and Simba from the previous films in the franchise.
